Trial period and withdrawl

A two week trial period will be given, upon enrollment, to determine the suitability of the arrangement. If at any time during the two weeks, the arrangement has not proven workable, then either party can terminate the child care arrangement immediately. If, however, both parties are happy with the arrangement and your child is settling in, then we will enter into a permanent contract. We then require a two week notice, (in writing) if you intend to withdraw your child from our care. This two week notice is paid.

When notice of termination has been given (by either party) you will be provided with a statement showing the amount due to “Briar Patch Corner” on or before your last day.

Absenteeism and Illness

If a child or parent is ill, or for any other reason the child will not be at Briar Patch Corner for the day, please call in the morning to let us know. You will still be required to pay your child care fee for the day your child is absent.

Parents should have alternative child care arrangements available in the event of an emergency.
